My Coping with Stress workshop equips people with tools to reduce stress levels. Managing stress with alcohol, smoking, gambling, over-eating, or anger is ineffective in the long-term.
Realizing that we have a choice and that we can use other tools which are healthier and more effective is the key message from this workshop. We cannot eliminate stressful situations (like heavy traffic and running late), but we can learn to simply gain control over certain strong and painful emotions at these times.
Past workshops have included introductions to yoga, meditation, sleep improvement, eating well, and self-hypnosis techniques for dealing with stressful situations. These can help you remain calm despite the “storms” that life throws at you, and are all designed to make your experience of life so much better.
